Noudar Jewels is showcasing its collection of Arabian-themed, diamond-studded jewellery at London Fashion Week as part of an exclusive collaboration with the British fashion designer Julien Macdonald.
When the models sashay down the catwalk at the Julien Macdonald LFW Spring/Summer 15 show tomorrow, they will be wearing pieces from Noudar's latest collection.
Noudar founder Noor Al Fardan first collaborated with Julien Macdonald a year ago, and the synergy between the two designers means that the relationship has continued to blossom.
Julien says: "I am so pleased to be collaborating with Noudar Jewels at my Spring Summer 2015 show. Her designs are absolutely beautiful, delicate and intricate - they compliment my collection."
Drawing on elements from both Arabic and Islamic cultures, Noudar's jewels are inspired by Oman patterns and Henna designs, but always with a feminine twist and a generous sprinkling of diamonds.
The designer's iconic pieces, such as the Noudar double ring that covers the length of two fingers and the fingerless glove that starts at the fingers as a ring and weaves a mesh of diamonds down the hand and wrist, look simultaneously tough and delicate. In white, yellow and rose gold or rhodium, interspersed with diamonds, the eclectic collection appeals to women who like their jewels with a touch of Arabian sensuality.
