Inspired by the intricate cellular structures found within nature, the late architectural guru Zaha Hadid created two limited-edition pieces in the form of a Skein bracelet and a ring for Arlène Bonnant's jewellery line Caspita. By considering jewellery, architecture, contemporary art and design, this venture went beyond an ordinary collaboration between two designers.

Zaha Hadid, the renowned London-based architect and designer, who sadly passed away in March 2016, was known for pushing the boundaries with her famous designs, most notably her model for the 2022 World Cup stadium in Qatar. Arlène Bonnant, Caspita's founder, is an expert in contemporary art, metaphysics and primordial traditions, fusing these three subjects into a jewellery line that seeks to tell the story of the invisible within our world. Together, Hadid and Bonnant created a collection which defines their vision of the world.

The intricate mesh geometries envisaged by Hadid for the Skein Caspita collection were realised by Swiss master goldsmiths. Both a recreation and interpretation of the microscopic, the intricate filigree designs are available in black, white, yellow and pink gold, with or without diamonds.
