It's worth making a special journey to the flagship Tiffany & Co. boutique on London's Bond Street between now and 18 October to witness the coming-together of two very special events. The much-loved American jeweller has chosen autumn to showcase a unique collection of Tiffany jewels, from the antique to the contemporary, that reflect its commitment to exceptional design and extraordinary stones.
The recently launched Legendary Diamonds Collection showcases some of Tiffany's most spectacular and unusual diamond jewels. The collection includes rare and one-of-a-kind pieces created by Tiffany's in-house artisans that have not been seen in the UK until now, all of which are available to try and buy at the Bond Street until mid-October.
Rare yellow diamonds feature prominently, including a pair of "Daisy" drop earrings and an impressive cobblestone bracelet with oval, marquise, pear and cushion-cut fancy intense yellow diamonds, set at different angles among clusters of white diamonds. The most impressive jewel is a show-stopping cocktail ring, set with a sunshine-bright 15.04ct oval fancy vivid yellow diamond.
Alongside all these remarkable modern-day Tiffany creations is an exhibition of antique Tiffany jewels, which highlights the brand's long and storied history. "A Brilliant Legacy: Treasures from the Tiffany Archives" digs deep into the jeweller's past, commemorating key moments in time. From a diamond and emerald brooch, one of the French Crown Jewels acquired by Tiffany in 1887, to a pair of Jean Schlumberger clips with two very famous owners, this is a rare opportunity to take a trip down memory lane, Tiffany style.
