OMEGA finds Bond fighting fit in Skyfall
Skyfall once again finds
James Bond in the company of old friends and, in the case of his
watch, the camaraderie continues with OMEGA. As
well as releasing a special edition of its 300M Seamaster to
celebrate 50 years of Bond, OMEGA is proud to unveil the new 600M
limited-edition Seamaster, as featured in the film.
The Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M
'Skyfall' limited edition is the sort of timepiece that feels right
at home in the derring-do world of Bond. Be it the deep-sea dives
in Thunderball or the Venetian waters of Casino
Royale, this watch is water-resistant up to 600m (a mighty
2,000ft). The 42mm brushed and polished stainless-steel case bears
all the build and quality we love about the Seamaster, fitted with
a unidirectional rotating diving bezel and a helium escape valve.
The diver's clasp is engraved with "007", whilst the 7 on the dial
also features the iconic logo. The watch is also equipped with a
"Si14" silicon balance spring and is powered by OMEGA's
exclusive new Co-Axial calibre 8507.
What is so striking about this
particular Seamaster isn't merely the presence of James Bond. The
sleek, black-ceramic ring of the bezel and the structured, matt
black dial give the watch its masculine edge, with little details,
such as the facetted, rhodium-plated hands, adding character.
Skyfall is released in the
UK on 26 October (16 November in the US). Once it has made its
on-screen debut, the Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Skyfall will be
available in a limited series of 5,007 pieces only.
