A Festive ALIAS by Theo Fennell
Theo Fennell
has always been known for his weird and wonderful approach to
jewellery design, but his recent ALIAS pieces have seen the British
jewellery designer embrace his somewhat mellower side.
December is only a month away, and
festive cheer is slowly starting to take over the high street. What
better way to indulge in the Christmas spirit than with two new Theo Fennell
charms? Available from 19th November, a charming little penguin and
rotund, red-breasted Robin have been made in silver and enamel.
ALIAS is the name of the Theo Fennell
collections that specialise in fine silver jewellery. "I wanted to
produce a collection that reflected our design heritage but in
materials we haven't used before," explains Fennell. "It give us
the freedom to explore new boundaries and make the collections more
available to a wider audience, from young to old, in both price and
feel."
Released earlier in the year,
Fennell's Meadow collection, also part of the ALIAS line, again
embraces Fennell's softer side - once you get past the trademark
skull and cross pendant, that is. With a delicious, delicate
palette, these pendants reinterpret two of the designer's trademark
motifs into something altogether lighter. Crafted in silver and
jade, and finished with either a bee, dragonfly or blossom motif,
they are a breath of fresh air just as the grey weather begins to
creeps in.
Released on 19 November, Fennell's
festive charms will retail for £95, whilst the Meadow collection is
already available, with prices starting at £175.
