Dior's Rose Garden blooms at the Biennale

Dior Precieuse Rose ring

Dior and roses go a long way back. They were the favourite flower of Christian Dior, particularly in pristine white, sitting elegantly in vases alongside the house grey and white furniture. Victoire de Castellane, who designs Dior's high jewellery has brought back the motif in the Precieuses Rose collection launching at the Biennale de Antiquaires 2010 in Paris this September. Look closely and you will see the intricate work that has gone into making these jewels look freshly picked from Mr Dior's garden on a dewy spring morning.
